Go Long Wireless owns 25 Designated Market Areas (DMAs) and manages 46 DMAs of Multichannel Video and Data Distribution Service (MVDDS). MVDDS is a terrestrial based wireless transmission method sharing the Direct Broadcast Satellite (DBS) frequencies – DISH and DIRECTV – for distribution of multichannel video and data over large distances. The spectrum is in the 12.2 – 12.7 GHz range, offering an operator a large capacity of line-of-site spectrum to deliver broadband speeds that can match fiber, but at a fraction of the cost.
